Maria's bio I came to this country from a far away European country almost 20 years ago. I tried and am still trying to learn English, and I don't know if ever I will be 100% in speaking the language of Edgar Allan Poe, Shakespeare and other beautiful American writers that delighted our childhood. I am more older than my classmates. I have two beautiful children. I am working as a paraprofessional in a public school here in New York, and I hope that in a some day I will be able to teach children in a real classroom. I am double major; education and psychology. The reason that I chose this wonderful profession is that I like to share from my background knowledge to others. I chose Elementary education and psychology because this two jobs go very well together in working with the human being, and especially with young children.
